For the time being they have one lane of traffic open. Which is nice, considering I know quite a few folks that had to make the 40 minute detour today.
On more of a farm related subject- I got into the field and did the initial tillage at the new farm today. Pretty exciting. Used a field cultivator to undercut the grasses that had bounced back since I originally ripped and disked the field in the fall. I worked up about an acre today. If the forecast holds, I should be able to make a couple more passes tomorrow and then till some beds on Wednesday. This is hopefully the window of sun that everyone promises about each February.

Here’s a picture I took right before I headed home today. Acre number 1 of 6. It’s nice having a camera in my phone. I think I’m more apt to take more pictures and then I can just load them onto the Mac via Bluetooth.
