Farming like there’s a tomorrow

It hit 25 degrees at the farm last night. I haven’t been out to the fields since I was at market today but I have a feeling certain veggies may be toasted. Luckily a majority of our fall planted crops are frost/cold hardy. I’ll update once I check things out in the morning (Sunday). But for now I think I’ll go build a fire.

    WOW! That’s cold. We haven’t got that cold yet this year. Rumor has it that it’s going to be 80 on Tuesday and then 40 on Wednesday — we will see! :)
