We’ve had a fair amount of snow over the past week. Of course it always melts off the next day, which is nice. Talking with some other farmer friends in the valley I found out that we weren’t the only ones who basically took the week off and layed low inside. Okay so we did order more seeds and supplies, and dreamed about cool tractor implements, but basically we spent most of the week hanging out with Demian. He’s a pretty cool dude. (I know dude is no longer “in” but I don’t care, he really is a cool dude.)

We saw some bibs that said Dude yesterday, and thought of your lil dude
This year has been crazy on the snow front…2 of the last 3 weeks have had >3″ on the ground, some times 8″, always with the ground frozen beneath it. Perfect conditions to not get any fencing or tree planting done. Hung out with our dude…..
