What’s at Market? Week of April 12th
April 13th, 2010 Posted in General RandomnessThe rain continues but we have been sneaking into the fields between rain storms and getting food in the ground. Grow food grow. This week we have our first Rhubarb of the season as well as the first Rainbow Chard. The Chard is velvety smooth and tastes fantastic. Hope you all can make it out to the market in the weather to come get some.
A few quick notes:
Our internet service has been hit and miss for the past few weeks. But now it's back. So sorry for any lack of communications and email list add ons for new members. We're getting caught up as we speak.
This is the last week to get the best discount on our Farm Bucks CSA. Even if you or a friend get the sign up to us by the end of this week (Saturday the 17th) we'll still honor the discount. We're trying to give a "It's tax week, I've got a zillion other things on my mind" benefit of the doubt.
We're looking at having a barn painting party/potluck at the end of May. Our new barn addition needs a nice coat of paint and thought it'd be fun to have everyone out. Maybe May 30th? Any input?
And finally, if you're not following us on Facebook and would like to, just click the link to our Farm Fan Page here.
Have a great week and see you at market!
