howdy there! it's almost august. and where are all the tomatoes. on their way. we've had some over the past few weeks but after checking with some farmer gurus i know around the country they all said one thing in common, "growing degree days". that means we just haven't had enough heat units accumulate yet for the tomatoes to flush in to ripening.
well darn. nature wins again. so they're coming en masse soon. watch out. here's what will be at market this week: salad mix
