What’s at Market? Week of October 19th
October 20th, 2008 Posted in General RandomnessThis Saturday will be the last Ashland Saturday market. We’ll be attending the Ashland Tuesday market until the end- November 18th and we’ll attend the Grants Pass Saturday market the first week or so of November. It depends a lot on the weather and how much produce we actually have.
The fall seems to have finally kicked into gear. And we’re still getting some nice warm “growing” days out in the fields. Hope you’re enjoying all the “sweetened” fall produce. We’ve been eating the parsnips almost every night in our household.
This week at market:
- Arugula
- Beets
- Braising Mix
- Broccoli
- Cabbage
- Cauliflower
- Carrots
- Cilantro
- Collards
- Garlic
- Kale
- Leeks
- Lettuce
- Onions
- Parsnips
- Parsley
- Shallots
- Potatoes
- Radishes
- Salad Mix
- Spinach
- Winter Squash
- Turnips
- Asian Cooking Greens
Hope you all have a great week! See you at market!
Here are some pictures from the past weeks. That broccoli was bigger than Demian’s head. !!

Your boy is sure growing. I think the fall weather is making him grow!
Wish Missouri was a little closer, I would love to eat some of your veggies.
I have loved reading the market lists.
